Play Options: You can play head-to-head, against the computer or let the computer play and coach both teams. You can choose "coach only" where you select the line-ups, make substituions, choose offensive and defensive strategies or you can "coach and play" where you make on-court decisions.
Realism and Accuracy: Years of design and play-testing have gone into making TPG the most accurate and realistic pro game on the market. Each team is composed of up to 15 players. Each player is rated for FG shooting, FT shooting, rebounding, passing, defense, foul drawing and overall contribution to the team.
Teams: TPG has 'em! Complete seasons from '84 to the last completed season are included with the game. Plus the two finalists from 1960-83. That's over 300 teams! New seasons are available every year within a week after the season ends.
Extras: You can draft a team, trade players between teams or input your own teams from scratch with TPG.
Statistics:TPG generates very accurate statistics. Print a game summary after each game. The stat-compiler will allow you to compile team and individual stats for an 82 game schedule. The auto-schedule feature will play and compile your games for you. The League Leaders module allows you to set up any number of leagues while the computer tracks standings and leaders in various categories.
