TMG Stock Car Racing

The Game Racing Fans Have Been Asking For

This is the unique game that puts racing strategy first. Not an arcade game or an exercise in mechanical engineering, TMG racing* emphasizes your ability to make important on-track decisions as crew chief and driver of your favorite racing team. Will you run your car hard in order to stay with the leaders, sit in the draft and wait for an opening or nurse your car to a safe finish and pick up valuable series points? Watch your fuel and maybe a tire change would get you a little more speed. And can you wait any longer for a yellow flag to drop? While your in the pits, you may want to adjust the car. Will it be two tires or four?

Realistic Performance by Drivers, Cars and Pit Crews

All the drivers, all the tracks, all the races are under your control as you renact the Winston Cup racing seasons back to 1990. Each driver/team is rated to reflect their abilities. Drivers are rated for ability to safely make daring mvoes and stamina. Cars are rated for durability. Crews are rated for speed in the pits and ability to overcome problems. As you complete each series, you will see the top drivers battling for the season championship. Some cars just will not win as their misfortunes continue just as they did in the actual races. Wins, top 10 finishes and points will be amazingly close to the actual totals as you complete the long 30+ race season.

All Tracks Rated-Present Unique Problems

The tracks reflect their actual counterparts. The short tracks will be hard on tires and many more cars will be collected in accidents. Don't look for any drafting here. Some of these tracks make passing very difficult. On the big speedways you must work the draft in order to win. Accidents here usually put you out of the race. Each event will see realistic results. Attrition rates, average speeds, number and length of yellow flags will satisfy the most demanding stat fans.

Statistics and Reports

You can easily save, view, print and compile race results. The point standing are updated after every race and the complete boxscore of each event can be assembled for your yearbook of the racing season. Reports are professionally rendered and are in the same format used by newspapers and racing magazines.

Easy and Fun to Play

Despite all the details and realistic factors that go into the game, playing is a snap. The interface and integrity of the programing lets you relax and have fun. Intuitive, colorful and bug-free, the flow of a race will not be interrupted as you scratch your head, reach for your manual or call tech support. Although a text game, an innovative system shows the cars on the track. It's more than a bunch of numbers flashing by --- a visual treat. You will know who's in your draft, where you are on the track and if you have room to make an important pass.
